This summer, the cooperative celebrated the launch of the A-share membership during a Kick-Off event at Lake Monster Brewing. The board and MIC staff coordinated a packed-out event with support from local businesses like Thai Thai Street Food and Sweet Fruci. With a great turnout many neighbors learned how to support and get involved with the new real estate cooperative happening right in our neighborhood.

September 2021

This fall, the cooperative implementation committee will elect a 7-11 member Founding Board from among committee members and interested community members. The Founding Board will serve for one year and will be in charge of launching a membership drive, identifying properties, hosting general meetings, and creating a work plan for the member-elected Board of Directors. After one year, the Founding Board will host elections in which the cooperative's general members will vote for the official Board of Directors with three year terms.
